Scramble

We had breakfast for dinner last night, and it was a fun time. I had a pack of Soyrizo in the fridge that we haven't tried yet, so I decided to add it to a tofu scramble. The Soyrizo was a really good tasting addition to the scramble, but I didn't like having to deal with the plastic "casing" around it. It was kind of gross having to scoop the glop out of the plastic tube. I imagine it wouldn't be nearly as gross as dealing with real Chorizo, though.
Anyway, the scramble had Soyrizo, along with onions, swiss chard, garlic, and pepper. Then I fried up some red potatoes for home fries. I accidentally made them WAY too greasy. You can see the fat glistening off them in the picture. They were wicked good, though...as most food swimming in fat usually is.

After dinner Ken made some homemade soy ice cream in our ice cream maker. It was great, too. I didn't take a picture of it because the camera batteries needed recharging. :)

Let's see, what else is going on? Today is our niece's birthday party. She is three this month. It should be a pretty cute day full of toys and such. I'll have to post some pics.
