Wow, has it been a week since I posted? Hmm.
Well, my cousin isn't exactly doing better, but he is alive and not doing worse. So that's good I guess. I had to swallow hard a few times when we went to see him, though. His appearance is disturbing, to say the least. And seeing his father break down in tears wasn't too easy either. Everybody seems to be fairly positive, so that's good. The docs took a piece of his skin and sent it to Boston to grow more for grafting. How cool is that? His mom is worried that if the piece of skin they took has one of his tattoos on it, then he will end up looking like a jigsaw puzzle. Heh.
Miles is still cute. He's calmed down a bit, but he's still biting and scratching us constantly. He does it while playing, and I know he's just a wee baby, but I'm tired of him attacking my butt and toes. I look like a pin cushion. The little tater tot! I'll share some more pictures soon.
In other news, I have applied to a university near our home. It's about time I got my ass to college. My career hit it's peak years ago, and it's all been downhill from there. Plus, I've been regretting not going to school ever since I enrolled into art school fourteen years ago but never went because I was too scared and misguided. So, my application is in, I just need to figure out the federal loan crap, get some evil immunizations, learn algebra, take the COMPASS test and somehow pull an art portfolio out of my ass, then I will be all set for spring 2007 to begin my bachlor of fine arts degree with a concentration in graphic design. (and try not to make run-on sentences)
...nervous? I can't shove the cookies in my mouth fast enough.
Oh, and Tom Waits was in Atlanta for a show on Monday. He hasn't been here for a concert in 30 years. I didn't have the money for tickets. The bastard.

Good for you! I'm sure you'll do well.
Yay! That's great about college!
Thanks, ladies. Now, will one of you please come over here and teach me math?
