blueberries and naners.

In case you were wondering, I did not try the donut recipe that was linked in the last entry. I wanted to, believe me. Luckily, I don't have one of those donut pans, or the money to get one. So the world is safe for now.
I did, however, bake some muffins this morning. Yeah, muffins look kinda like cupcakes, don't they? I made Wolffie's Blueberry Banana Muffins from La Dolce Vegan, and I added some slivered almonds to the batter. These were delicious. Just the right hint of banana, without being all super banana. I had to add about 1/4 cup more soymilk than the recipe called for, because it was just too dry for a muffin mix. I don't know what happened there. It could have been because I didn't use four tablespoons of molasses as the recipe stated. I only used about a teaspoon, because I can't stand baked goods with an overwhelming molasses taste. Behold, our Sunday breakfast:
blueberry banana muffins

I was a good girl and used whole wheat pastry flour, so they weren't all bad. I did eat them warm with Earth Balance, though.
...Don't judge me.
