I admit, I'm one of those vegans. I quite enjoy the meat analogs. I don't care if it looks like the real thing, because I know that it isn't. I don't eat the stuff everyday, because they are pretty over-processed as far as food goes, but hey. Sometimes I like it.
That being said, we now have access to the may wah vegan chicken legs on a regular basis. This could prove to be a dangerous thing. Case in point:
Buffalo wings! I battered the wings with panko, and baked them in the oven. Then I smothered them in the buffalo wing sauce from Don't Eat Off The Sidewalk Issue 1. They're pretty much the best thing ever. (I promise we didn't eat the whole plate full. And we had a salad with them. Stop looking at me that way! )
In other news.... we don't usually make a habit of buying our produce from Publix, but we were in need of a few quick things. Every one of the tomatoes at Publix had these styrofoam sleeves on them. What a waste! And you should have seen all the grape bundles on styrofoam trays covered in cling wrap. That's just madness.
