can't even cook a popsicle.

Why come I caint cook popsyckles? I got this tray at the dollar store, and froze some of this stuff in it. But I can't pull the frozen pops out! The stick just pulls out. I've tried the straight pull as well as the twisty pull. Any thoughts?

Try running it under warm water briefly first. It should loosen the pop frozen to the sides.

I agree with Jodie, you should try running the popsicles under warm or hot water before attempting to pull any of them out.

I agree with jodie too! Or maybe they are defective and that's why they were at the dollar store (trying to make you feel better)! If you do get them out, let us know how they taste.

Whenever I make popsicles, I always let them sit out for just a little bit to loosen them up. Then I turn the whole container upside down & pull them out one at a time. I hope they come out OK!

BTW - I am new to food blogging & I really love your site!

That sucks... hopefully the warm water advice helps!

I have a couple different types of popsicle holders and some I have to hold under the warm water longer than others.

Also, all of my sticks have little holes in them (about 3 holes evenly spaced down the stick part). These holes help the popsicle stay stuck to the stick as you pull it out. Yours don't have those holes, but maybe you could poke/drill some in? They really do help.

Lastly, make sure they are frozen enough to be stuck to the stick before trying to remove them.
