Ruby Lynn does the same thing to me. She really enjoys cutting my leg up with her nails (I had a foot long scar on my thigh, courtesy of her, for 2 whole months), then curling up next to me and giving me doggy kisses.
I have considered the soft paws, yes. But I am worried about putting them on him. I have a hard enough time just clipping his claws, and they grow so fast!

It's crazy. He attacks me so viciously, mostly on my arms and hands. Then he acts like it never happened.
i'd suggest you put those little claw cover things on him, but i'm pretty sure he'd kill you.

I loved the soft paws until the cats got clever enough to remove them themselves. the couch will have to live without being pretty.
